PULZ began with a moment that could not be ignored.

In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, our founder Kirsty Barany was brought into the healthcare system to help solve an urgent problem: how to use technology to reach patients who had lost access to care. What she saw changed everything.

For the first time, the system opened. It became clear how health data truly moved, who controlled it, who benefited from it, and how often patients were left out of the value created by their own records.

That moment became the foundation for PULZ.
